Farmer Market time again

Ahh... one of my favorite things about Spring: Farmer's Markets.

It's about that time of the year for all the farmer markets to start springing up all over So Cal. My favorites so far are Monrovia & Upland, but La Verne is a local one, so I often visit that one. You can't beat fresh corn on the cob w/ butter, mayo, Parmesan cheese & chile (yup, Mexican style!) on a warm spring night.

I am way excited about how my friendship has grown w/ this gal... even all the way in China. Its amazing how some friendships, over the years, either grow stronger or just seem to fall by the wayside. Not that anything bad has happened, sometimes life just gets in the way & you stop trying as hard, & start making excuses instead of just doing. Not w/ this girl. We both have made the effort to solidify our relationship & it has paid off. She's my Mexican Oprah. Check out her adventures in china here
